ANCC National Magnet Conference 2012 - Los Angeles, CA

Magnet Art Gallery/Film Fest

Thank you to all who submitted art and films for the 2011 conference. The Art of Magnet® Nursing Gallery, sponsored by Loyola University Healthcare System and UCLA Health System, showcases quilts, photos, sculptures, framed poems, fabric art, and other types of artistic expression. These works express the deep commitment of those involved in the art and practice of nursing in a Magnet work environment.

Don’t miss your opportunity to share in this moving tribute to the best of nursing! All Magnet-designated organizations as well as active applicants (those who have submitted their Magnet application) are invited to submit items via the form below.

The Magnet® Film Festival, sponsored by Cedars Sinai Medical Center, captures the spirit and pride of Magnet nurses. If your organization has produced a video telling your Magnet story, highlighting the accomplishments of your nurses, and/or celebrating the Magnet journey as it is experienced in your lives, please submit it for consideration via the form below.  ~ New for 2011~ Some films may be shown online as part of the Magnet Conference Virtual Poster Hall.

Annual Reports, which Magnet organizations prepare for their own governing bodies, will also be displayed in the gallery. These documents provide a wealth of valuable information about these leading healthcare organizations. If you have a report to display, please send a three-hole punched copy to the following address by September 16, 2012: Ian Coleman– ANCC/Magnet – 8515 Georgia Ave. – Suite 400 – Silver Spring, MD, 20910-3492.

Last but certainly not least, nurses can stitch their way into conference history and share in a unique networking opportunity by participating in the Magnet® Quilting Bee.
